When I first came into my internship I had no experience in this field of work, from the start I was just learning the ropes of business and how things get done. However for my skills coming in, I believe that my skill to pay attention and remember key aspects of my experiences had helped my through my internship.
As my internship is coming to an end, during my time here I believe that I have developed the skills of being able to mange my time in a organized fashion and being able to speak up to my mentor and his colleagues to ask questions about the content being demonstrated. The way I developed these skills was by getting out of my comfort zone. I usually don't manage my time correctly or even have a schedule but as my internship went on, I realized that having an organized time schedule helps me know what I need to do at a certain time or place. However for my other skill of opening up and asking questions, I took me while to develop that skill because I was with people who I did not know and were new to me, but as day after day passed and talking to people in the office, I got a little bit more comfortable and starting asking questions when I did not fully understand the subject of topic.
My work as an intern helped me understand that hard work does pay off in the end and to have the mental ability to push through challenges that exist in my path to success. So basically when I was working with my mentor he taught me these valuable assets to life.
