For the Sci-Fi project, our class wrote short science fiction stories that would be compiled into a single book called "Pandora's Book". We began by writing seed texts or potential premises for our stories and eventually we moved on to filling individual items such as logical leaps, big idea and world building graphic organizers.
Below will be my beginning premises for my story:

This next picture will be an example of a seed text for our stories:
For our project we had many informational pieces that we needed to complete in order to make our stories seem like a possible event in our future. we had to fill out several papers they are Big Idea Graphic Organizer you can view mine here. We created a World Building Organizer. This was our background information about our stories. Next was a assignment to fill out information about our stories World/place our characters live. You can view mine here. Next I will be showing you a pictures of a made up Facebook profile for my main character:
After we finished our Facebook profiles we needed to do research for our Sci Fi topic. We created a research document to back up all of information that was going to go in our stories. You can view mine here. After our research document we had to finish our story plan by finishing a Logical Leaps assignment, this made sure that all the science was relate-able to the readers. You can view mine here. For our last piece of writing before our final draft we had to create a Down Draft. This is basically a write up of your story that will be edited by me and my peers. Unfortunately I do not have a document to has my down draft because I edited it until it was my final draft. Finally after all of the edits by myself and others we had a Final Draft of our stories. This took a long time to appear because in my own case, I had a lot of edits that needed to be made to my down draft to become my Final Draft. You can view mine here.
In my drafts both down and final drafts, I had decided what I wanted to write and I stuck with it throughout the drafts. I wanted to write about an Artificial Intelligence that has the power to help organizations cripple the world. That idea stuck through my drafts. The best part about writing my story was creating the story of my characters as the story was developing. However the toughest part of making my story was trying to find the right background information about the topic I chose to write about. From my down draft to my final draft there was a difference in the grammar from the drafts. I personally am not well with punctuation with quotations. So my down draft and final draft are different in the aspect of punctuation and not with the content, the content stayed the same. From this project I take away that if I put in a lot of work into the work that I am suppose to do it will turn out great.
